​Emily Benatar

This year's theme for our Emily's Way event was to keep it simple and honor Emily by doing art. We wanted to give people the time, place and supplies to have fun and use the creative part of their minds. The Palo Alto Art Center provided a wonderful teacher, Ann, who brought an extensive variety of magazines and beautiful papers for making collages on thin wooden boards, both small (for coasters) and larger (for place mats). It was a relaxing event where people got to go with the flow to wherever their imaginations led them. Lots of good food made by Ada's cafe, and catching up with so many supportive friends and family members.
We always appreciate when people join us to remember Emily, doing something she loved so much.
