Rice Krispies Treat Cake
Make two recipes of rice krispies treats*, press each into 9 X 13 pan. Unmold one onto a large tray or platter, cover top with a layer of marshmallow cream, then unmold second pan of Rice Krispies and place it on top of the layer of marshmallow cream.
Write and put candles on cake as you usually would!
Rice Krispies Treat recipe
3 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 package (10 oz) marshmallows (about 40 large marshmallows)
6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
In a large saucepan, melt butter over low heat. Add the marshmallows and continue to stir
until the marshmallows have completely melted. Remove from heat.
Stir in the Rice Krispies cereal, coating them well with the melted marshmallow mixture.
Using a buttered spatula, press the mixture evenly into a greased 9 X 13 pan.
